Moving over rock using hands and feet to make your ascent, normally on large hand and foot holds. A head for heights and a sense of adventure are a must.
Intro to Scrambling N Wales

This 1 or 2 day excursion into the scrambling mecca that is Snowdonia sees the team learning how to use guidebooks combined with weather forecasts to identify a suitable venue. Once there we will look at identifying the route as well as movement skills and dynamic risk assessment of the terrain.
Advanced Scrambling N Wales
£180 - 2 days ratio of 1:2/3
This 2 day excursion into the scrambling Mecca that is Snowdonia sees the team learning how to use guidebooks and technical equipment combined with weather forecasts to identify a suitable venue for a days exploration of the Welsh mountains. The use of a rope, harness, helmet and associated equipment will be explored with the intent of giving participants the knowledge and confidence to undertake their own adventures. Participants will have spent some time in the hills already and more than likely completed some grade 1 or 2 scrambles already.
